Plagiarism Policy
Plagiarism in any form is strictly prohibited. The International Journal for Research in Biology and Pharmacy (IJRBP) maintains a zero-tolerance policy toward unethical publication practices. This includes:
-
Copying text, ideas, data, tables, figures, or images without proper acknowledgment
-
Self-plagiarism or significant overlap with previously published work
-
Duplicate or redundant publication
-
Improper paraphrasing or inadequate citation
Any manuscript found to contain plagiarism will not be considered for publication.
Originality Screening
All submitted manuscripts are screened using standard similarity-checking software prior to the peer review process. The editorial team carefully evaluates similarity reports to distinguish between acceptable scholarly referencing and unethical practices.
Editorial Action
If plagiarism or unethical conduct is identified at any stage of the publication process, the journal reserves the right to take appropriate action, including:
-
Rejection of the manuscript
-
Request for clarification or revision
-
Withdrawal or retraction of a published article
-
Notification of the author’s affiliated institution, when necessary
Author Responsibility
Authors are responsible for ensuring that their submissions are entirely original and that all sources are properly cited. By submitting a manuscript to IJRBP, authors confirm their adherence to recognized ethical standards, including the guidelines recommended by the Committee on Publication Ethics (COPE).
